This is my site all about the Elves in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Here you will find pictures of the elves from Peter Jackson's movie rendition of Lord of the Rings and a brief history of each.

29.February 2004: LOTR: The Return of the King sweeps the Oscars in all 11 categories it was nominated in!!

January 2004: LOTR:The Return of the King receives 11 Oscar Nods in the following categories: Art Direction, Costume Design, Directing, Film Editing, Makeup, Music (Score), Music (Song) "Into the West", Best Picture, Sound, Visual Effects, and Writing (Adapted Screenplay)!! The 76th Annual Academy Awards will air Sunday February 29, 2004 at 8e/5p.
